The new software can be used for DT6, but not for DT8 (part 209). The old software can also send the DT8 commands but does not read the responses. The new version can monitor bus traffic, the old version cannot. Changing the address to a non-standard one is not possible.

Thank you for your feedback. The issues are added to backlog and will be solved in future releases. It is possible for the customer to update the firmware and software after the issues are resolved.

As a reply to zeki unal: AFAIK, the python-dali library handles that, so there's no need to send the command twice manually.

there are some commands that must be sent twice in 100msec for proper operation. please add a "send twice" button to DALI Commands page...
